Symphonic recordings and concerts

I had a lot of fun arranging the music for Aarhus Symphony Orchestra’s Musikkens Børn (Children of the Music).

All children born in Aarhus Municipality in 2018 are invited to follow the orchestra for the first six years of their lives.

In June we recorded my arrangements of Signe Thorborg Addison’s and Maria Burgard’s great new songs as well as a handful of classics from the treasure chest with conductor Jesper Nordin.

This week, the musicians are playing the initial 18 concerts with my arrangements of music by Carl Nielsen, Offenbach, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Mahler and others for the so far approx. 485 newborns.
