“Tuning, Applause” highlighted as the “best classical concert experience of 2016” in Politiken

Great start on 2017. Music editor Thomas Michelsen points out Aarhus Unge Tonekunstnere (AUT)’s 50th anniversary concert as the “best classical concert experience of 2016. An evening with both wow-effect, humor and wit” in the leading Danish daily newspaper Politiken’s focus on events from the past year.

At the concert my piece “Tuning, Applause” was premiered by Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and conductor Baldur Brönnimann joined by the entire concert audience.

Also featured at the event were recent works by Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Simon Steen-Andersen, Mathias Monrad Møller and Rasmus Zwicki. The concert was curated by Allan Gravgaard Madsen, and was a great experience. Thank you to everyone involved.
