Lasse D. Hansen introduces at 17.10. With Schubert’s majestic and melodic last symphony, known as the Great. Schubert never got to hear the work before his death, aged only 31. Shostakovich’s soul-shaking and in many places downright creepy music has a thorough singing and warm cello sound.
